“We came up with the idea of dressing up as a mascot to attract people to our photo service. But instead of simply buying a ready-made mascot costume, we decided to make the mascot head by ourselves,” Mo-Han explains.
Mo-Han and Aone guessed it would take them a week to recreate George Washington’s head on paperboard. It took four and the result was unrecognisable. It was the end of their photo service – but the start of Wizhead.
“We saw an interesting opportunity in this grotesque cardboard assembled head. We imagined a new business that would make paper heads modelled after famous individuals for millions of people who wanted to be inspired by their favourite characters.”
“The strength and toughness of Invercote keep our paper model sturdy after it is assembled into its final shape.”

Two years later Wizhead supplied Paper Models of 27 different famous people – from Vincent van Gogh to Donald Trump – around the world. And the future was bright. In 2017 the company also planned to produce licensed commercial products, with Shaun the Sheep as the first character out of the factory. Some of the paper products’ success is due to the high quality of the chosen material: Invercote paperboard.
“Using Invercote Creato is one of our best decisions. It brings proper whiteness and outstanding printability. The strength and toughness of Invercote keep our paper model sturdy after it is assembled into its final shape,” Mo-Han says.
